Audit Reports

Forest Hills Borough conducts an annual independent audit of all financial accounts each year. The audit is conducted by a private accounting/auditing firm for the prior calendar year. Once completed, the firm submits an audit report to the borough that typically includes:

-A letter from the auditor summarizing their findings
-Management Discussion and Analysis statement prepared by the auditor in conjunction with staff
-Basic financial statements of various kinds
-Notes to the basic financial statements with additional detail
-Supplementary information

Standard & Poor’s current report includes the opinion of Forest Hills’ very strong liquidity and very strong budgetary flexibility, which Standard & Poor expects management to maintain through conservative budget management.
